  • Replacement Motor Recommendation for Landing Gear of 2011 Keystone Raptor with # 1-065-041012-01
  • Based on the part numbers you listed to replace the motor on your landing gear you can use part # LG-196308. Replacing the gearbox would be optional and for that you can use part # LG-179015. There are few different options that would fit, but the motor I mentioned has the highest capacity of the available options.

  • Determining If Reese Electric Landing Gear RP500708 Will Fit A 2011 Keystone Avalanche 330RE
  • The Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear # RP500708 you were looking at may fit your 2011 Keystone Avalanche 5th Wheel Model 330RE, but the only way to be sure is measure the distance between the weld stops of your current landing gear. The weld stops of the # RP500708 measure 15-1/2" apart inside to inside, and 17-1/2" apart outside to outside as you can see in the included diagram. As long as this matches your current landing gear this would be the correct replacement for you. Having...

  • Does Solera 16 Foot Black Fade Awning Roller Assembly Work With Dometic 9100 Awning Arms
  • The Solera RV Awning Roller Assembly - 16' Wide - Black Fade # LCV000211486 does not work with Dometic arms, so you'll need to replace those as well. To replace your Dometic 9100 awning arms, what you can use is a Solera conversion it, which is available in black or white. You just need to make sure you have 69 inches of space straight down from the awning rail. If so, you can use the following: - Solera RV Awning Roller Assembly - 16' Wide - Black Fade # LCV000211486 - Solera 12V Electric...

  • Troubleshooting Landing Gear Retracting Intermittently on 2010 Keystone Avalanche 5th Wheel
  • If your landing gear is acting up like that then you need to check your ground to make sure it is secured to a clean, bare-metal surface, your power wiring that nothing it damaged, and then the battery in your 2010 Keystone Avalanche because a depleted battery could possibly be sending intermittent power like what you described. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to test sections of the power wire to ensure your landing gear is getting constant power.

  • Does the High Pointe Over the Range Microwave Have External Ventilation
  • Yes, the High Pointe Over the Range RV Microwave # HP74ZR has a two speed exhaust fan which will remove all smoke, steam, and odors out of the immediate cooking area, but it will not vent it outside. If you wanted to have the microwave be able to vent outside you'd need to fabricate an external duct and connect it to the microwave.

  • How to Tell if Spring is out of Alignment For Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box LC155943
  • Thank you very much for your purchase from etrailer of the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC155943. The pin box has a keyway where the spring bolt sits that you slide in where the air spring rests; it is hard to see the whole thing due to it being black, but I added a photo which shows where it is. You move it by hand, back and forth, with the spring fully deflated. If the air bag was tilted, this is indeed an indication the alignment may not have been fully in the hole.

  • Do the Load Resistors Go Inside the Light Assembly When Switching to LEDs On a Trailer
  • When installing the LED Trailer Tail Light with License Plate Bracket part # 328-003-81LBM1 with a load resistor like the Putco LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit part # DI34ZR, the load resistor will not get installed inside the actual light assembly. The load resistor just needs to be inline with the signal wire so a few inches behind the taillight will be just fine. Furthermore, the load resistors do get hot so they will need to be mounted in an area clear of any obstructions.

  • Why Would Installing New Trailer Brakes Require More Brake Controller Voltage
  • Since the trailer brake assemblies you bought and installed part # AKEBRK-7-SA are self-adjusting what you'll need to do is just drive on them for a while and they'll tension themselves to the correct amount so that you don't need so much brake controller gain/voltage. You'll probably notice the brakes feeling more and more aggresive and will need to begin backing the voltage down slowly.

  • Will the Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable # TC372 Fit a 2014 Keystone Avalanche 361TG
  • The Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable # TC372 has a 3" diameter passage that is compatible with standard 3" sewage lines on RVs like your 2014 Keystone Avalanche 361TG. This part is a replacement so if you don't already have a Valterra waste valve system then you would need to install install something like the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve # T40B which has 3" hub connectors on either end. If you needed one end to have a hub and the other end a spigot then we also have part # T40...

  • Landing Gear Gear Box and Motor Replacement for 2011 Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel

  • Solution for 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter on 2022 Keystone Avalanche
  • Thank you for providing that information. According to Lippert, you have a 1621 pin box rated for 15.5k. When choosing a replacement you want to make sure you match up the bolt pattern and the rating. Since Reese has been out of stock for months as of June 2023 with no word on when the goose box will return, I recommend getting the Gen-Y instead. The Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box has similar performance using a rubber torsion system instead of an air bag. I'm not entirely...

  • Locating Replacement Hubs and Brake Assemblies for 2014 Keystone Cougar Trailer
  • We have everything you need to replace the hub and brake assembly on your Keystone Cougar Trailer, but unfortunately trailer manufacturers do not keep an accurate or readily available record of the smaller parts that they install on trailers. Because of this, the best method for determining which hub will fit your trailer is to simply pull the hub and check for the bearing numbers that are used. The numbers should be stamped right onto the bearings themselves. If you cannot locate this...

  • Can Slide Topper Fit Right Next to Awning on RV
  • We've had this question before and when asked about this Solera has informed us that in order for a slide topper to fit with an awning there needs to be at least 7 inches between the awning and the slide out. If you can let me know the width of your slide out I can determine what slide toppers would fit.

  • 5th Wheel Trailer Nose Sits Higher and Hitch/Pin Box Are Fully Adjusted
  • The issue you are having with the trailer nose sitting higher and no further adjustments can be made to the pin box or hitch is pretty common nowadays since trucks continue to get taller and taller. The solution for this though is pretty simple as all you need to do is lift the trailer. There aren't a whole lot of options for this but the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX is what I recommend as it provides the smallest amount of lift. This kit will get you setup and...

  • Landing Gear With Dual Motors For Keystone 5th Wheel
  • With connected landing gear you can't swap out the follow leg for a lead leg and motor to operate them independently. The gear wouldn't work and you wouldn't be able to orient the leg properly either. So you'd need to switch landing gear completely to an independent dual leg setup, the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010.

  • How To Use A Swivel Wheel Trailer on a 5th Wheel Trailer
  • I do have everything you need to use a swivel wheel trailer on your 5th wheel trailer but we do not carry them nor do we have anything similar therefore you will need to source the trailer elsewhere. In order to use a swivel wheel trailer to haul your golf cart on a 5th wheel trailer you are going to need to install a trailer hitch as well as a 4-way trailer connector. The best trailer hitch we have for you is the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13701 which fits trailers...

  • Reese Goose Box Pin Box Replacement for Keystone Avalanche 5th Wheel Trailer
  • The Reese Goose Box Pin Box replacement will not void the manufacturer's warranty. The Goose Box is an air ride box to absorb shock as well as reduce jarring and chucking. We have a few different options, however the Lippert number you gave is not a pin box number. That is not a problem because we do have measurements that can be taken to assist in determining that pin box replacement. I've attached an article to assist with this. We have the # RP85FR which is a confirmed fit for...
